 TONE is an American-born musical artist who is currently promoting his music in Taiwan. From recording acoustic guitar tracks on a 4-track recorder in the 9th grade to performing in alternative rock bands in high school, TONE has been honing his drive for music songwriting and production for many years.Upon winning a Chinese music competiton in 2002, TONE began pursuing the art of pop and hip-hop production. His influences include Radiohead, The Beatles, John Lennon, and Kanye West. From 2002-2006, TONE has been diligently crafting his debut Mandarin album which is due for release in Taiwan in 2006.Two of his debut singles, “6:57AM” and “The Deepest Heart”, are currently in rotation online. In “6:57AM”, TONE describes in his own words the various phases of his musical journey as well as his philosophies on life. “The Deepest Heart” is a stripped-down acoustic ballad that demonstrates TONE’s guitar skill and raw vocal talent.
