As promised way back in my first review, here’s the roundup of albums I’ve reviewed and how they’ve stood up over time. Don’t expect too much out of this review-wise though - it’s basically an epilogue. OK, so here we go, in chronological order:S.H.E. - Once Upon A Time (不想长大 - Bu Xiang Zhangda)Original review hereThis has stood up well to a few months. Granted, it’s not on high rotation anymore, but it’s certainly getting pulled out from time to time - and as anyone with an iPod can tell you, listening to an album specifically isn’t as common as you might think, so that’s a fair complement in and of itself. I can’t say I get quite the same enjoyment from the songs as before, but they’re still a pleasant diversion, even if a couple have started to grate a little. Every once in a while I’ll even find myself humming one of the songs, despite not having listened in a while. I’ve also come to appreciate 不作你的朋友 (”Let’s Not ‘Just Be Friends’”) more than before, I have to admit. Otherwise, yeah, still holding up well, and still worth the purchase if you’ve been holding off. It may not stay at the top of your “Most Played” list for long, but it’ll still be getting played for a while to come.Hai’er - Nv Er Hong (亥儿 - 女儿红) Original review hereThis one hasn’t fared so well. In fact, I almost completely forgot I even owned it. Listening to it again, it’s still pretty good, but you won’t likely be pulling it out with any regularity after the first couple of weeks, tops. But then again, it is just an EP, not a full length album, so that’s not as bad as it might sound. Still worth a purchase, just don’t expect to have any of the songs really stick with you over the long term. So basically not a laster, but still worth the purchase.MC HotDog - Wake UpOriginal review hereOf the three, this has definitely stood up the best so far. I’ve had it since January, and it’s still getting regular play. About half the album is still sitting on my “Most Played” playlist on the iPod. Really, there’s not much more to add to what I said in the review - an excellent album that definitely has legs.

with 不想长大(bu xiang zhang da) by S.H.E i’ve only been listening to the songs 不想长大 and 星星之火 (xing xing zhi huo) as those are the only songs in one of many of my playlists so they do randomly crop up once in a while and when they do omg the songs just get stuck in my head ALL day even though they’re not that great

When it comes to S.H.E, the songs themselves are great, if only someone else could sing them!
I’ve only heard Wo Ai Tai Mei. It’s funny and catchy.
