This long awaited album by Stefanie Sun with the name – “完美的一天 A Perfect Day” (Wan Mei Di Yi Tian) has released. The album name is taken from the main hit song which is currently frequently aired in the radio stations. This hit song gives a very relaxing and lively feeling. Its melody also makes one to sing along with it.

The whole album still continues the style from Yan Zi’s previous album. Most of the songs are slow tempo. However the producer tries to diversify by adding some fast tempo song in between like “First Day” (Di Yi Tian) and “Dream Still Alive” (Meng Bu Luo). I personally prefer Yan Zi’s slow tempo songs as she can present her unique vocal better. “Tears Become Poem” (Yan Lei Cheng Shi) is one of it. However if you pay attention to the melody, you will notice this song carries some similarities with “Same Species” (Tong Lei) – a song from her last album.

“Invisible Man” (Yin Xing Ren) is the type of classic lyric songs Yan Zi used to have in her album. Listening to this song alone especially at night will give you a peace of mind as you can enjoy the Yan Zi-style of voice. If you pay attention to the lyrics in this song, you will find it very meaningful. This is one of my favorite songs in this album.

“Honey Honey” has been a topic even before the released of this album. This is because Cyndi Wang has released a song named “Honey”. Elva Hsiao has a song is her coming album called “Honey Honey Hoeny” as well. One word to describe this song – cute! The melody of the chorus part will start playing in my mind whenever I see Honey!

“Wish” (Xin Yuan) is the song that really allows Yan Zi to bring into play her unique vocal. She had very good pitching in this song. “Vagrant Map” (Liu Lang Di Tu) also gives the same feeling. A very comfortable and tranquil atmosphere will be felt when you play this song. The other tracks in this album are “Another Face” (Ling Yi Zhang Lian) and “Tomorrow A Sunny Day” (Ming Tian Qing Tian)

Yan Zi looks outstanding after she dyes her hair red. However I feel that she can have a better pose for her album cover. Overall, I would say that there is not much surprise in this album as Yan Zi has opted to remain her style after a long rest. Hopefully she can try out different music genre in her coming albums. Nevertheless this is a quality album as most of the songs have the potential to hit the Chinese pop charts. For those Yan Zi Fans out there, this is absolutely an album that you should not miss.
